My Journey

Plein air painting in Paris

I’m an oil painter and watercolour artist. Originally from Britain where I studied figurative drawing and painting. I spent a few years on the West Coast of Australia where I continued creating figurative oil paintings and exhibiting in galleries. I then moved to France where I shifted from figurative art to plein air painting.

My aim now is to document my travels and the stories I see through my art.

I’m learning a lot as I go and I want to share the knowledge and skills I gain with others. I started writing a blog but hopefully this will soon move to a vlog documenting my adventures and explaining what I’m learning along the way.
